I like to dream about luxury. I am the kind of dreamer who makes vision boards. I post photos around my house of the things I would like to do and the goals I would like to accomplish.

The holidays have always been a time for me to refresh and renew these dreams and goals.

What’s always on my holiday list? Disney Luxury Experiences.

When it comes to Disney, there is no bigger dream than for me to go on a decadent, luxurious and fabulous trip, complete with fine dining, a deluxe hotel stay, and a VIP Tour.

Experiences have become the gifts of choice for me and for my family. The memories made are the greatest gifts of all.

Dream Holiday Gift #1: A Private VIP Tour

Imagine that you and up to 9 of your closest friends and family get the chance to tour Walt Disney World any way that you want.

You start the day by getting picked up at your hotel in a private vehicle. You are then whisked away to the park(s) of your choice. You get to customize how many rides and attractions you want to enjoy. You can hop parks, view the parades and shows from VIP seating locations, meet characters quickly, or stroll along Main Street, U.S.A. at your own, leisurely pace. Oh yes, and then their is the best part: the VIP ride experience. You can get on select rides over-and-over AND enjoy Fast Pass+ on rides without having to prebook. (You heard that right!)

You can create any itinerary you want.

The best part? The tour guides are well-versed in Disney history and trivia. I would love to have lots of face time with a Cast Member so that I can pick their brain and talk about all-things-Mickey-Mouse. I rarely get a chance to be fully immersed amongst my “Disney Tribe.” I would relish the chance to geek out and learn from a VIP Tour guide.

Private VIP experiences start at $400-$600 per hour (depending on the season) with a minimum of six continuous hours.

Dream Holiday Gift #2: Dinner at Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

I will gladly take a meal at V&A’s as a gift.

Eight-time James Beard Award “Best Chef South” nominee, Chef Scott Hunnel is a master of southern food and continental style. Chef Hunnel joined the Disney Cast in 1995 and has made Victoria & Albert’s the premier fine dining location in central Florida. The AAA Five Diamond award is the restaurant’s highest accolade – far better is the feedback from diners. Everyone, (and I mean everyone!) shares that dining at Victoria and Albert’s is the meal of a lifetime.

Want to step it up? Go for reservations at the “Chef’s Table” or in the “Queen Victoria Room.” The set menu and private settings offer guests an intimate experience. As Lou Mongello says, “Bring your stretchy pants!” as you will be served up to 13 different courses with wine parings.  Dishes like Virginia black bass, seared duck, and Kobe beef regularly grace the menu. Reservations are a must and are hard to come by. The main dining room has one nightly seating.

Regular diners, Michelle and Brian Morgan of Fort Lauderdale shared: “We have done the Chef’s Table twice. It is the nicest Chef’s Table of any restaurant we have been to. We try to get there [V&A’s] a few times per year. We planned our 25th Anniversary around a meal at V&A.”

Plan ahead and save up. The prix-fixe menu starts at $185 per person, $250 per person with wine pairings, for the seven course dinner.

Dream Holiday Gift #3: A Luxury Stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

There are SO many things that are appealing about the Grand Floridian. It is on the top of many-a-Disney fan’s list. It is the brass ring of hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Here’s my quick list of what makes the hotel so spectacular (especially during the holidays):

The location on the Monorail and access to the parks. The lobby, the holiday trees and the life-sized gingerbread house. (Oh, and did I mention the aroma of the spices that fill that lobby and pervade your senses? Its dreamy and delicious.) The Grand Floridian Society Orchestra that plays nightly. The view of the fireworks and the Electrical Water Pageant. The dining. The large rooms and the comfortable 1000-thread count sheets on each of the beds. The poinsettia floral displays and the proximity to the wedding pavilion. Senses spa and all the glorious services.

Its is all so very good. It is our family’s favorite place to stay.

Combine all three holiday dream gifts: A Day with a VIP private tour, followed by a dinner at Victoria & Albert’s Chef’s Table, finished with fireworks viewing from my private verandah in the main building of the Grand Floridian. That would be my ultimate Disney Luxury gift come true.

If a luxury Disney gift showed up under your tree, what would your dream present be? I would love to hear.
